Slovenian Diabetes Association – SLODA, together with Association of Radio Amateurs of Slovenia announces for the tenth time the Special Events Amateur Radio signs S55T and S50G on a country basis to celebrate World Diabetes Day and to arise public awareness of diabetes.
The 8th competition My Knowledge About diabetes
On 25th of November there was the eighth competition “My knowledge about diabetes” at elementary and high schools. On the school level were 6123 pupils and students involved.
Campaign heart starts beating
The IDF-led 'Unite for Diabetes' campaign is underway. Our strategy is to operate with speed, flexibility and courage. The International Diabetes Federation has developed an integrated campaign strategy that blends direct advocacy with broader grassroots communications activities. We will inform, motivate and mobilize the global diabetes community in the first stage and target the general media soon thereafter. The official launch will take place during the meeting of the American Diabetes Association in Washington on June 10th with ADA's full support.
